Cambium Networks XV2-2T is a high efficiency, dual radio Wi-Fi 6 access point (AP) designed for outdoor deployments in Wi-Fi hotspots, outdoor enterprise networks, hospitality, and education markets. With a range upward to 1km, this Access Point lets you cover larger areas with fewer APs.

Where does it fit?

The XV2-2T can be installed anywhere. It has a robust design suitable for installation in harsh weather conditions, it features wide temperature tolerance, high class surge suppression up to 4kV and an LTE co-existence filter.

Due to an excellent antenna, the XV2-2T can provide coverage for large areas, thus it will be very beneficial in use-cases where you want to provide public access or even in the industry where you want to enable WiFi-connectivity for assets outdoors. Installing access points can be expensive as you need infrastructure such as power and masts, as the XV2-2T has such an excellent wireless range, you will need fewer APs to cover the same area, thus reducing the total cost of your project.

Flexible PoE Output feature

The XV2-2T is fitted with a flexible PoE-output port, support both Cambium 30VDC and 802.3af/at. Ideal for connecting the XV2-2T to a Cambium subscriber module (SM), Terragraph CN (connection node), or any IP and Ethernet device such as a security IP camera, or even another Wi-Fi access point.

In outdoor deployments, the IEEE 802.11ax standard delivers significant improvements vs former WiFi techonologies. Range is improved by boosting the RF frame preamble by 3dB, while signal quality is improved by dynamically adjusting the guard interval.

The XV2-2T is fully backward compatible with existing Wi-Fi technology and prepares a network for higher growth and greater density of Wi-Fi connected devices.
