Decentlab DL-PR36 - High-Precision Pressure/Level transducer and temperature sensor for LoRaWAN

The DL-PR36 enables remote monitoring of water level in open water, fill level of tanks, wells,  groundwater level and various other applications where you need high-precision level measurements. It's designed for outdoor use, with a highly robust IP-67 enclosure and for ease for installation with internal batteries and antenna.

A piezoresistive pressure transducer is used, measuring the pressure at the sensor head relative to the atmospheric pressure at the cable end (device enclosure). When the sensor head is placed under water (or any other liquid), the relative pressure indicates the depth of the sensor head. In water, the relative pressure of 1 bar equals to a depth of approximately 10 m.

The device also measures and reports the temperature of the sensor head with high precision. The temperature reading is also used internally for temperature compensation.

Applications

  • Outdoor remote monitoring
  • Level / Depth monitoring in tanks for liquids
  • Groundwater level monitoring
  • Level / depth monitoring of wells up to 300 meters.
