NetModule NB1800 is a compact and powerful wireless router suitable for a variety of industrial applications.
The router is supplied with two gigabit ethernet ports, two wireless modules, RS232/485 serial port and a flexible fiber-optic SFP module. Thanks to intelligent routing and link management software the router provides redundant and resilient internet connections for IT/OT systems.
Equipped with two Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) modules, the NB1800 series enables RSDB (Real Simultaneous Dual Band) operation for faster simultaneous WiFi connectivity in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. This allows the router to be used for deploying powerful public Wi-Fi.
In addition to a feature rich operating system, the router supports SDK-based or virtualization-based (LXC) programming to enable sophisticated applications such as Edge Computing can be efficiently realized.
Integrated DIN rail mounting, the wide operating temperature range from -40 °C to 70 °C and the IP40 metal housing and a rugged industrial design allow reliable operation under harsh conditions. Combined with its versatile features and performance, this makes the NB1800 ideal for applications such as Industrial Security, Mining and Public WiFi.
